My Movie Review On Angelina Jolie’s Movie ‘SALT’

Okay So I just finished watching Angelina Jolie‘s movie “Salt” and I must say that this movie is VERY good! Her action scenes are great, the storyline was okay I wasn’t too crazy about it.

So here is the plot of the movie:

As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity.

Angelina Jolie shows off her many different personality/ styles in this movie including her blonde hair, black hair, short hair, fake face, and many more! She switches her clothes a lot trying to change her identity which was pretty cool.

If you watch the movie, everything is basically entertaining until she sees her husband get shot. (sorry to spoil) but after her husband gets shot, it kinda gets boring from then.

Hmm so the real question is, what would I give the final grade to this movie? I would give it a solid B.

Jennifer Aniston’s New Co-Star: The Old Spice Guy!

He’s certainly made watching commercials worth the while, and it is now being reported that Isaiah Mustafa is set to star in an upcoming film alongside Jennifer Aniston.

The funny spokesman for Old Spice is reportedly appearing in the Warner Bros. film “Horrible Bosses,” which stars Ms Aniston and Jason Bateman.

Furthermore, Mr Mustafa is also confirmed in a role for the upcoming Tyler Perry’s “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.”

The characters that Isaiah will be playing are still unknown, but will hopefully reflect his entertaining ways in the Old Spice gigs.

“Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” Premieres in LA

It’s sure to be one of the summer’s funniest flicks, and last night (July 27) “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” premiered in Los Angeles.

Michael Cera, Jason Schwartzman, and Anna Kendrick all showed up at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre to promote their new film, smiling and waving to fans as they posed on the red carpet.

Also in the house were Amanda Crew, Abigail Breslin, Sigourney Weaver, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aubrey Plaza, Thomas Jane, Seth Green and Clare Grant.

Set to hit theaters on August 13th, “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” is about a guy who falls in love with a girl and has to battle her seven evil ex-boyfriends before they can be together.

Angelina Jolie: Seoul “Salt” Press Conference

Up for another day of promoting, Angelina Jolie attended the “Salt” press conference in Seoul, South Korea on Wednesday (July 28).

Held at the Shilla Hotel, the 35-year-old actress looked stunning as she opted to stick with an all-black ensemble during her continued Asian press tour.

Traveling with Shiloh, Maddox, Pax and Zahara, Miss Jolie made the trip to Seoul after premiering her CIA thriller in Tokyo, Japan the previous day.

The stop comes as “Salt” opens up in South Korea tomorrow (July 29), with the film placing second in the US box office during its opening weekend with a $36 million take.

Stepping out for a fun-filled evening, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted at the Los Angeles premiere of “Charlie St. Cloud” last night (July 20).

The “High School Musical” couple looked to be in good spirits as they arrived at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, posing for the paparazzi before heading inside.

Could The Movie “Easy A” Be The New “Mean Girls”?

Very Very similar!

Remember back in 2004 when you couldn’t go anywhere without someone quoting a line from Mean Girls? Brace yourselves for a similar situation, because Easy A will be making its debut on September 17th. The film stars Emma Stone as a student who fakes losing her virginity to her gay friend, and it’s been described as an “edgier Mean Girls” with tons of memorable lines.

The movie also marks the final performance of actress Amanda Bynes, who recently announced her early retirement on Twitter. And it stars a bunch of hot dudes like Penn Badgley and Cam Gigandet. In other words, you can bet on your father’s Toaster Strudel that I’ll be seeing this shit.

“Eclipse” Dominates Midnight Box Office

It was most likely the most anticipated films of the year, and the movie ticket sales for “Eclipse” can prove it.

It’s been reported that Eclipse made over $30 million on its opening night alone!

The whopping number surpasses the previous midnight record holder which belonged to “New Moon” that earned $26.3 million last November.

“Eclipse” marks the first “Twilight” film to receive a summer opening, a decision that seems to be playing out incredibly well for Summit Entertainment.
