Legal Trouble For Hooters!

A female employee at a Hooters restaurant is considering taking legal action against the corporation because they not only offered her a gym membership, but then told her that if she didn’t lose weight, she would lose her job!

Cassandra Smith, who is 20 and apparently only 5’8″ and 132 pounds, was called in for her yearly review when her manager, along with two representatives from corporate headquarters in Atlanta via webcam, informed her that she had 30 days to lose the weight, and if there were no results, her employment would be terminated.

She says:

“I was confused because I don’t wear the biggest uniform size. I was just completely embarrassed. I’m not overweight by any means. If anything … I’ve been losing weight.”

Good job hooters, maybe you guys are the reason why women go on shitloads of diets and basically starve themselves! Hopefully Cassandra herself does take legal action to make a point.

Not all women are made the same, and some people out there need to get over it, don’t keep your mouth shut Cassandra, speak out!

Heidi Montag Gets A Restraining Order On Her Mom!

This is just too cruel!

Dealing with quite a bit of domestic drama, Heidi Montag has taken steps to issue a restraining order against her mother, Darlene.

The move comes after the “Hills” hottie’s mom made an unannounced visit to her and hubby Spencer Pratt’s Los Angeles pad.

Talking to TMZ, Miss Montag tells, “My mom [Darlene Egelhoff] just showed up to the house unannounced… and after what she did to me on national TV, I have no desire to see her.”

Fighting after Darlene criticized her daughter’s plastic surgery overload, Mama Montag began pounding on the door before being escorted away from the property, as Spencer told Us magazine of the situation, “She’s gone. The cops took her away.”

Shortly thereafter, Heidi added, “Her showing up is completely out of line and psychotic. I’m getting a restraining order against her.”

Chris Brown Making Progress

He turned 21 years old yesterday, and today (May 6) Chris Brown got some great news from Judge Patricia Schnegg.

The “Kiss Kiss” hitmaker was praised by the judge for the progress he’s made since he was convicted of beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna last year.

Chris was given a positive progress report and has reportedly completed 290 hours of hard labor as part of his community service requirement.

Additionally, Mr. Brown has also been fully compliant with the rest of his probation terms, completing all but one of his domestic violence classes.

Lets hope this goes away soon, we want Chris Brown back can we all please forgive him?

Paris Hilton Pole Dancing Sexy!

After spending the early part of the evening attending the debut of Chagoury Couture with her family, Paris Hilton let loose at Drai’s Hollywood on Wednesday night (April 28).

Mingling with fellow guest Ciara and showing off her pole-dancing skills, the hotel heiress hit the Tinseltown hotspot to help celebrate Timbaland’s birthday.

And while Paris seemed to be having quite the care-free night, her parents have been sued by Herbalife International over disputed royalty payment issues.

The suit stems from the fact that Herbalife paid Rick and Kathy Hilton royalty payments after the product they were tied to was discontinued in 2002.

As a result, Herbalife Internationals is “seeking a determination that we do not owe the Hiltons royalties on any products at this time and that certain historical royalties were paid mistakenly. Herbalife will also seek the return of the mistaken payments.”

Uh oh Hiltons, time to pay up!

Parents Are Upset With T.I.’s Visit To School

Rapper T.I made a trip to Woodland Middle School in Henry County, GA last month as part of his community service efforts while serving time in a halfway house. Unfortunately one parent was not amused when he found out T.I was a surprise guest and he shot off an angry letter to the school.

He said if he had known ahead of time that T.I would have been there, he wouldn’t have allowed his 12 year old daughter to attend the assembly which focused on anti-bullying.
The first e-mail I sent to him was to ask that from now on we have some kind of parental input whether or not a speaker is appropriate. If I don’t want my child to be there, just give me the right to opt them out,” Myers said.

Myers also wrote in the e-mail, “How about next time, let him mow the grass or pick up the trash around the school grounds? If the kids see that they might understand that what he did was wrong.”

In a way, I do understand where the parent is coming from, however I loved the principal’s response. Check it out below:

Principal Oatts replied in his e-mail, “I thought about asking a guy who snorted cocaine and got arrested for DUI when he was 30 to come and speak to our kids, but President George W. Bush was not available.

Oatts went on to write in the exchanges with Myers that even the president made mistakes when he was young, and that T.I.’s messages to the students was ‘to take their education seriously, put forth their best effort, pursue their dreams and not engage in bullying.”

Sarah Palin Testifies Against Email Hacker

While it’s no secret that she received a plethora of criticism during her 2008 campaign with Presidential candidate John McCain, it seems Sarah Palin also suffered an attack from a computer hacker.

And earlier today (April 23) the former Governor of Alaska testified in a Tennessee court against a former college student accused of illegally accessing her email account.

David Kernell is suspected of hacking into Palin’s personal email account and posting her daughter Bristol’s phone number on a website. This led to harassing phone calls and text messages.

Kernell is not being accused of making the phone calls, though he could face up to 50 years in prison if convicted. David’s lawyer said it was all a prank and he meant no harm.

Jon Gosselin Fires His Lawyer & Talks Custody!

He seems to make headlines every week for one thing or another, and this time it’s because Jon Gosselin has fired his attorney.

“Mr. Anthony List Sr., Esq., is not my representing attorney; I terminated him on April 15, 2010. He has no legal right to speak to the press or anyone on my behalf,” said Gosselin.

Meanwhile, on Thursday morning (April 22), Jon took to his Twitter with an unusually kind tone, writing, “Kate, her attorneys and I are moving forward to work out things privately and amicably.”

Perhaps the civil words stem from Jon wanting primary custody of the eight kids he shares with ex-wife Kate, who was recently kicked off “Dancing With the Stars.”

Oh jeez, I thought the drama was over! Guess not.

Did ‘Ugly Betty’ Steal An Idea?

“Ugly Betty” just went off the air and now a writer/director is claiming the show’s producers, including ABC and Touchstone, ripped off her idea — this according to a federal lawsuit.

In the court documents, filed today in federal court in Los Angeles, Azita Zendel says she wrote a screenplay which became the movie “Controlled Chaos” — and that several episodes of ‘Betty’ are similar to her movie.

According to the docs, Zendel claims the producers of ‘Betty’ got their hands on her project because she submitted it to them for a possible distribution deal — but instead they allegedly used it without compensating her.

In case you never saw (or even heard of) “Controlled Chaos” — imdb.com says it’s about an assistant who has to cover up a film director’s scandalous lifestyle.

Zendel is suing for unspecified damages.

Uh Oh, looks like it’s time to pay up!

Hm, could that be the REAL reason why they canceled the great show?

Lindsay Lohan Is In BIG Legal Trouble!

Lindsay Lohan blew off a deposition last Wednesday in Venice for a 2007 alleged crime where she allegedly held three men hostage, drove under the influence during a high speed chase, and authorities found cocaine in her vehicle. Rather than show up for the deposition Lindsay went shopping at the Boutique in Beverly Hills.

The shopping might be a clue that Lindsay has an addiction to shopping. Radar reports Lindsay owes $600,000 to credit card companies. Radar quotes a source that says:

“One card cut her off last week and it’s only a matter of time before all her other credit cards cut her off too.”

“One credit card company is going to discuss a payment plan for Lindsay, but if she doesn’t have the income and can’t make her payments, they are prepared to sue her.”

Better start the legal proceedings soon, because if Lindsay isn’t already broke, then she could be dead soon, and creditors trying to get money from the Michael Jackson estate know collection after death is not an easy task.

Police Called To Restrain Alexander Skarsgard

Alexander Skarsgard – the actor boyfriend of Kate Bosworth – is restrained by a police officer after he reportedly became annoyed by the attentions of a paparazzo at the Coachella Festival.

A police officer was called in to the bar area to calm down a clench-fisted Skargard after tempers flared late in the evening. No-one was arrested.
