Kanye West & Amber Rose Feeding The Homeless

In a tumultuous year of public embarrassments, online outburst, and moments I’m sure he wishes he could take back, Kanye West wrapped up 2009 showing us the side of himself you might not know existed: the humane, human, regular guy (who also happens to be an extremely talented pop-superstar.)

West and his Amazonian girlfriend Amber Rose helped serve food to the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission last weekend. Gotta say, they kept their swag going while doling out the grub; few can look good while manning the mashed potato station.

On doing his part and pitching in where needed, West said (via Hip Hop Chronicle), “It’s just important (to give back) when you’re very blessed. (It’s nice) to spread your blessings and take time out, especially during the holidays to appreciate people who never get that appreciation.”

Amen, Kanye. That’s the real good life.

Taylor Lautner Skit On SNL Kanye West & T-Swizzle

Taking his turn on the SNL stage, Taylor Lautner made the most of his hosting duties on the popular NBC sketch show on Saturday night.

Opting to base his opening monologue on the Kanye West/Taylor Swift VMA heckling incident – the “New Moon” hunk showed off his fighting spirit as he took out his frustrations on a Kanye cardboard cutout.

Haha hilarious!

Defending rumored girlfriend Swift, Lautner said, “What I really wanted to do was this…” as he proceeded to beat up and behead the cardboard Kanye.

With a high-pitched impression of Miss Swift then saying, “You are the bravest man I’ve ever known,” Mr Lautner took the opportunity to give her cardboard character a big smooch.

Kanye “Album Of The Decade”

Looks like Kanye West’s misery is slowly going away! After his MTV VMAs moment, people couldn’t stop chatting about what he did to Taylor Swift but anyways his reputation has always gone up and down.

A newly humbled Kanye posted a blog entry over on his official website after finding out that his debut album, The College Dropout, had been named the Top Album of the Decade by Entertainment Weekly!

Kanye Blogged:

WOW… THIS IS REALLY FLATTERING… I’VE HAD SOME UPS AND DOWNS THIS YEAR, WELL ACTUALLY THIS DECADE. JUST SEEING THIS COVER TAKES ME BACK TO THAT TIME OF MY LIFE. I REMEMBER HOW MUCH PAIN AND LOVE WENT INTO THIS ALBUM. NO ONE SAW IT COMING. THIS PROJECT WASN’T ABOUT ME, IT WAS ABOUT A TIME IN PEOPLES LIVES WHERE PEOPLE FORCE OPINIONS ON YOU AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE CHOICES FOR YOURSELF. WE LOVED 50 CENT BUT WE WANTED TO BE THE YANG. Taylor Swift Talks Joe Jonas On SNL Tonight

Kanye West’s Day In Court

Back in September 2008, he was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and battery at the Los Angeles International Airport, and today October 23rd Kanye West was dismissed of those charges.

The “Love Lockdown” singer – along with his manager, Don Crowley – reportedly confronted a paparazzo and smashed his camera, according to police.

Today, court commissioner, Mark Zuckman, dismissed the charges against both West and Crowley. City prosecutors opposed the dismissal, arguing that both defendants exhibited “felonious intent.”

After the hearing, Kanye’s lawyer, Blair Berk, told press that he is“very pleased the court granted dismissal of all charges” and that Kanye has agreed to perform community service for the American Red Cross.[PSGallery=fje3o532n]
