Britney Spears’ “Glee” Will Be “Hallucinogenic”

It’s one of the most popular shows on television, and “Glee” is gearing up for their Britney Spears episode this fall.

During an interview at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con, the cast and creator of the show revealed some details about the upcoming show – dubbing it as “hallucinogenic”.

Ryan Murphy leaked, “All I can say about that is that we’re doing six Britney songs, and then Brittany (Heather Morris) is doing a Britney song. We’re paying tribute to her in a sort of fun and unexpected way.”

Earlier this year, Mathew Morrison voiced his opposition to the idea, stating, “I hope our show doesn’t go along that route.”

It was a meeting and a courtship so gleeful, it probably would make Sue Sylvester sulk.

“We actually have a picture of the moment we met,” Glee star Jane Lynch, who plays the hilariously menacing Coach Sylvester on the Fox hit, tells The New York Times” about a May 2009 San Francisco fund-raiser where she was a presenter and clinical psychologist Dr. Lara Embry was among those being honored.

At the gathering, it was the good doctor who pushed to meet Lynch. “I said, ‘I want my picture taken with her,’ ” Embry tells the newspaper. “I thought she was cute.”

Lea Michele’s No Diva, Says “Glee” Creator

Stepping out to tend to her all-important press obligations, Lea Michele turned up at the 2010 FOX Upfront Presentation held at Wollman Rink in Central Park, NYC on Monday (May 17).

The “Glee” actress/singer looked darling in a multi-colored dress as she posed for pictures before heading inside to join up with her fellow co-stars.

Meanwhile, “Glee” creator and director Ryan Murphy took a moment to defend Miss Michele from chatter claiming that her diva ways have caused tension with fellow cast members, saying, “[The rumors are] not accurate and not true at all. Lea is the sweetest, most professional girl. She’s incredibly kind and she’s always on time and she’s always with her cast hanging out. They’re all close.”

Giving pointers to Lea on how to get past the unfounded rumors, Murphy said, “I told Lea this would happen to her in July of last year. Just wait, people will start to write untruths. I told her, ‘Keep your chin up and it just happens. It’s happened to me and it’s happened to everyone. So don’t pay attention to it.’ But it’s definitely not true. Lea is great.”

Glee’s “Vogue” VS. Madonna Comparison

Impressive! They did a great job!

The Sue Sylvester video remake of “Vogue” debuted after Glee, and it was pretty flawless. It’s amazing how it the original and the Glee’s version is side by side it shows how the two stack up!

The biggest difference seems to come at the end, but the Glee version is very faithful to the original with some simple alterations here and there. Jane Lynch does a great job as a stand in for Madge, even if her dance moves seem a little overly rehearsed. The vocal track is all Sue Motherf…ing Sylvester, but the spirit is all Madonna.
